All Saints Network actively supports City Mission and Missiondale, local mission entities of Launceston.
Missiondale: The Women’s Breakfast actively supports Missiondale through donations of single bed mattress protectors, fitted sheets, double bed quilt covers, toiletries and other items as needed. The ladies of the Breakfast team put together “welcome packs” for new residents, and contribute towards gifts at Christmas time. For more information about Missiondale, visit their website: http://www.citymission.org.au/drug-alcohol
City Mission: Our city site, St John’s, is a collection point for donations of non perishable food items for City Mission, as well as good quality clothing and blankets. All donations are gratefully received and can be placed in Yellow Bin at the back of church. Supporting missions and missionaries overseas
All Saints Anglican Network supports various missionaries overseas. In recent years, this has included:
- A family working with Pioneers in Peru to reach urban dwellers (now returned to Australia after completing their assignment.)
- An Australian lady living and working in Houston, Texas, reaching out to cross-cultural and refugees.
- Support through Older Boulders for Young Seeds which provides tuition, uniforms, accommodation and medical fees for students in South Sudan.
- Other families and individuals who for safety and security reasons are not able to be named.
