Safe Church Communities
“We want our church communities to be safe places where all people can encounter the love of God in Christ. Every church must reflect the values of respect and honour that are taught to us in the Bible. All ministry – especially with children – requires absolute trustworthiness. We are committed to ministering safely through the ongoing evaluation of our people, our places and our programs.”
Bishop Richard Condie
The All Saints Network, as part of the Anglican church in Tasmania, is committed to doing everything we can to ensure that churches and organisations are safe places for all who participate in our activities – including children, people with disabilities, the aged, and you. We want our workers to be able to serve others faithfully and help create safe communities.
This is why everyone who participates in any type of ministry must meet specific standards of personal and public conduct, and complete relevant training.
Once both the screening and training is completed, you will receive endorsement. Receiving endorsement means that appropriate screening and training has been completed and you are ready to participate in ministry. This is a requirement of service in the church and there are no exceptions. You can find information about the levels of endorsement required for different roles by connecting with us below.
