Knit, crochet, sew?
We are a gathering of people who like making things, (knit/ sew/ crochet etc) and we like to direct our works to people who need them.
In the past year, people have made singlets and blankets for children in Women’s Shelters, bags for toiletries and rugs that go to Missiondale and domestic violence shelters and lots of beanies and scarves for many people. We have recently been asked to contribute beanies for the Scripture Union campers.
The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday afternoons in the Rectory. Of course we drink tea (and coffee)! One of our group shares a devotion. We always welcome newbies!, but if you can’t come and would like to knit a beanie or a scarf towards our campaign, that will be great too!
